crafted in Martinborough.
Created from just six hundred molly-coddled vines (Sei Cento is Italian for 600), only 600 numbered bottles of this luscious Pinot Noir are released each year.
The wine is fussed over every step of the way to produce a Pinot Noir that has dark cherry and plum flavours, and is reminiscent of the musty forest floor you expect in a classic Pinot. It is perfectly matched with mushrooms & truffles, red meat such as lamb or venison, and a roaring winter fire.
We cellar the wine and only make it available for sale when it is first ready for drinking, though still with a good cellaring life ahead. Typically that is five years from harvest.
The wine has won several awards over the years, and has been selected in blind tastings as the consumers’ choice. It has a dedicated and growing fan base who typically snap up the first cases released.
